Light bulbs are so 2008, traffic lights are so 1990. Lava lamps are so 1970. Let's use leds for our source code build in 2010!

In this video i show how the lights of an amBX Starters Kit turn to red, green or any other color when the Team Foundation Server 2008 build breaks of succeeds. When the build is running, multiple colors are shown while we wait for the outcome.

See for architecture details and detailed .Net C# code http://adi.atosoriginblog.nl/2009/12/24/team-foundation-server-controlled-ehh... (dutch)

This is a really cheap way to show all developers how good or bad the daily or continuous build is. Use it in conjunction with the build dashboard.

The audio is dutch spoken. Please contact me if you want a English transcription.
