David Garrard, quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars, was at Nemours Children's Clinic yesterday afternoon. Garrard was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2004 and aims to increase awareness about the disease and encourage others struggling with the illness. In recognition of "CCFA (Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America) Sunday" at EverBank Field on November 14, the David Garrard Foundation gave families living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) an opportunity to meet the quarterback and hear his story.
