The Other Deepak drives a hindu priest back to the temple in the San Fernando valley, and they inevitably end up jammin...

Brought to you by Dream Rock Productions, and the Breath of Life Project. (c) 2009 The Other Deepak

Breath of Life Project: Non-profit foundation started by The Other Deepak. The project has an overall intention of sharing possibility with the world through numerous mediums: music, education, art, self-expression, comedy, dance, food/diet, games, athletics, meditation/yoga/breathing, TV/Film/documentaries, etc...

The Other Deepak says:

Do something different. Try breaking routine. Get out of the comfort zone a little. Act silly, or take a road you have never taken. Roll down your window and sing with the stereo. Make eye contact with someone on the road, and just give them a big hello or a smile. Pull off the road in a random location and climb a hill. Walk a really long distance from one town to another and show up at a friends house and knock on their door and surprise them, and then tell them you walked there. Go down to a homeless shelter or a soup kitchen and do some service. Buy a homeless person a $5 Hot n' Ready Little Caesar's Large Cheese Pizza, and while there, get yourself one too. Jump in the ocean or a nearby lake/river or pool, even in the winter. Pick up some trash that you see while walking down the road. Call your parents or family that you haven't called in a while and send out some love. Go to Chuck E. Cheeses. Climb a tree...

It is nice to have balance. But is also nice to shake it up as well. It gives balance more meaning. Then the lifestyle has its homeostasis, where the foundation is grounded and on top of that we can have freedom as the roots are planted.

So simply observe. See where you might want more routine, and see where you might want to break it. We don't need to be so hard on ourselves. It is with ease and grace that we can still push ourselves to the limit without going so deep where we lose sight and end up judging ourselves for not living up to an ideal of illusion. Having the ideal vision is wonderful, but it is the attachment that can be dangerous.

Have fun with it all!
