@zackindy312 In 1990 when the internet just came out 8% of American adults were non-theists. Now the percentage has risen to 18% as of 2010. I blame that on people like IRENIGMA888 spreading reasons why to doubt your religion. So thanks to now what we call the "Information Age" theists will be able to see the other side. I know a kid who was 100% "you're going to hell if you don't worship jesus" but within a month of me showing him some articles on astronomy and evolution, he is now 100% atheist

Believers think "Good eats"
The Catholics eat the flesh and drink the blood of Jesus every time they have mass.
They say he taste like a white cracker even though he was not white.

I do believe that we would not be able to have these conversations like this if it wasn't for the internet. We would have been killed. I have no idea what kind of risk we are taking now with such open thinking with all the nuts who want to not allow such thoughts to take place.

Lol yeah! For instance - in times of old, when they called people 'heretics' - and burned them at the stake and so on, the word 'heretic' comes from the word 'hereticos' which in greek means 'free to choose' - the real war on freedom began with the popes 'inquisition' - we dont have to worry about this now - but im sure there are still some pretty crazy individuals who will kill for what they believe

You and I can think of many times when we thinking we are doing something "good" and it turns out to have "evil" consequences. Were we "evil" when we were trying to do the "good" thing? The "Holy Church" can think about many incidents in their past when they believed they were doing the "right or good" thing but we now know today, what they did was evil.

(Luke 23:34)
Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.
Other disciples made references also to this sentence and all had a different opinion - but if this one is correct - which is from luke, who is probably the most reliable source and understood best - it would be hipocrysy to punish people for not knowing

What happens to person if (s)he get to go to heaven. Does (s)he's personality change? Does free will disappear, do all your thought's suddenly become holy. Do they get a super shot of drugs so that all they feel only pleasure? The only thing they feel is happiness? Do they just sit around in a stupor with a smile on their face? Do they stop thinking? Do you just listen to Christmas songs forever?

@zackindy312
LOL :) ive absolutely no idea, But the bible does say people would be raised incorruptable and 'perfect' - another reason why my idea of hell is a physical death or holy war rather than a spiritual 'punishment' - a punishment is learned from but hell is forever? lol
in John 8:15
Jesus says:
You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one.
John 5:22
jesus says:
Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,
