I went last year (2011) I went in the haunted house. But I didn't pay much attention to the actors but the wall and the paintings really interested and intrigued me. I wonder what it was like back then to live there as a patient. Besides hell. But the real life. Can anyone give me any more information on Waverly HIlls Sanitarium?

Yes this video by all means is completely fake. Your telling me that they thought they should pan the camera back and forth while seeing this apparition?? Lol please!!! Get real already, someone is going to hold the camera as still as possible. Yeah they just assumed that an apparition was coming so move the camera side to side guys!!!!

It was taken by an investigation team (I want to say ghost adventures?) during an investigation. If you've seen the full episode it starts with seeing the people taking the ghost tour walking around about a minute later you see this. This is the 4th floor of waverly, notorious for being the critical children's unit. Those are clearly children in period clothing. The camera movement is done by the investigator to eliminate the possibility of those being reflections.

I'm curious about this because it seems like a static camera which is triggered by movement, and starts panning back and forth when it sees motion. I think the idea is to eliminate critters and anomalies. And obviously, it is positioned high which I think means by the owners of the building. Camsixteem, can you get the sender of the video to explain it to you?

Waverly Hills was 98% show IMHO. It was a super cool building though, and the chicken resturant at the bottom of the hill was good.

There is a purpose I believe for the camera moving... sometimes when people post fake vids of ghosts they "caught", once the camera moves, the ghost moves with it, thus proving they aren't real. In this video the figure does not move when the camera does. I've heard a LOT of weird things about Waverly and would LOVE to visit it at least once in my lifetime.

If there was something (which i'm not doubting) wouldn't you hold the camera still....otherwise the shadows could play a big part of it. Just saying.
