  • what a lame ass crowd. lol "let's all go see Animal Collective and be cardboard cutouts."

  • to those of you criticizing this performance, look at what year this is. 2005. that's two years before strawberry jam came out. so obviously this is a very early version of the song which is why it doesn't sound like the studio version. just because its different doesn't make it bad.

  • studio version is much much much better though.

  • lol.

  • I lost it when Deakin started dancing at 3:06. Oh god lol.

  • Was that four tet I heard at the start

  • what a great performance; they never cease to amaze me.

  • i fucking love this version

  • I think this version is interesting, and I think that's the whole point of Animal Collective. They want their music to be surprising and refreshing, especially when so much music today sounds exactly the same.

  • I actually like this version of the song better than the studio version. Anyone know where I can find a better quality version of it done this way?

  • @xCroB93x you should go to a concert with them. youtube will never justify the experience. never. and this clip doesn't even try.

  • @xCroB93x I think it's just the audio quality of the video. They sound very different from this in person
