@1xlottiex1 I didn't like Amy's come-on to the Doctor at the end of Flesh and Stone. Thought it was totally trashy and I stand by my assessment of her as "Hooker Pond". That's not to say she's bad, she's just a hooker ;)

Oh lord, after the angels I was glad to have a break from the creepyness. Besides, it's Moffet's show now. We'll have more scares soon enough.

Loved the opening bit with the cake. Thought the rest of the episode was not that strong. The aliens plan seemed a little muddled and over-complicated. Also, I think Rory should've had some stronger moments and been allowed to look more heroic. It wouldn't surprise me if this was put right in the center of the season because the producers knew it was the weakest episode.

Great review---I completely agree with your points. This ultimately was a good episode, but there were some missteps, for sure. However, for the first time with Matt Smith, I want to see more. Looking forward to your next review!
