"Once upon a time kids asked their fathers, "What did you do in the war, daddy?" It's a question the next generation could ask all of us, who stood by as our government invaded Iraq to start a war whose purpose and rationale keep shifting and whose end is nowhere in sight, and who look now with nonchalance upon the unseen scars of those who are fighting it."

  • Thank God this has changed since the Bush administration is gone. Now PTSD is at the forefront of VA healthcare.

  • Per Bloomberg, in Nov. '07 shareholders in the securities industry lost $74B of their equity, yet Wall St. paid out bonuses totaling almost $38 billion. 186,000 brokers/bankers from 5 large securities firms in the US were each awarded an average $201,500 for surviving a year on the phone in a comfortable office. The average 100%disability benefit for a PTSD sufferer is around $2600/mo, +/-. As Wall St. siphons exorbitant profits from this war, desperate soldiers are ignored. This IS criminal.
