Miss you Mom and Dad - 'Promise of Paradise'

I lost both of my parents within a year. There are thousands of families who feel our pain.

1 Thessalonians 4:13,14
And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.

Philippians 4:6,7
6 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

I know the feeling of losing loved ones in death. From July 2010 to Dec 2011, I lost my family doctor, a close friend, an aquaintance, my father and the first witness to study with me in death. But we can look forward to the resurrection. Your spiritual brother Dwight

I lost my Dad Nov.18th 2010, and my mom Dec.13th 2011. I know how you feel! NUMB!

It's even more difficult when your siblings are estranged or don't get along.

I look forward for the Lord to come back for us and to be with all those who went

before us that had so much love and wisdom. I can't wait for that great reunion with Christ!

It seems to me that we all regret arguing with our parents or being mean to them..and only realize when they are gone. Its a way of life some how but I wish I did not argue wiht dad couple of times. Lost him 5 years ago through cancer but he lived to be 95. but lost mom Oct 19th, 2011, to damn alzeimers disease. she was only 70. RIP Momma.

although i argue with my parents a lot, I cry now that i'm in college and I only have so much time to live with them, I don't know how much pain it would be to lose either of them. So from here all I can say for you is to have faith in the holy lord, be brave, and be strong

The world is in trouble, most of mankind doesn't know what to do and what tomorrow brings. We know that Jehovah will soon interfere and set all matters right. The ressurection isn't far anymore, the great day of God almighty isn't far anymore. We're almost there. Warm love from your brother from Holland:)
