The down side of using some of the tft monitors (including this) will be:

-Cannot play PS1 or PS2 games
-Cannot play DVD movies

I think that is because the monitor doesn't support lower resolution.

1. Connect your PS3 and the monitor.

2. Switch on your PS3 by pressing the Power Button (not from controller) and keep pressing for few seconds until you hear the beep. This resets the Resolution Setting for ps3.

3. Wait for about 10 sec.

4. Connect the controller and wait for another 5 sec.

5. In this stage, it is saying something like HDMI output is detected and if you want to change. So using the controller, Press LEFT key once, and Press X once. You are accepting it.

6. Wait for another 10 sec.

7. In this stage, it is saying something like if you want to use high HD resolution with 720p and 1080i. Using the controller, Press LEFT key once, and Press X once. You are accepting it again.

8. It should work perfectly now.

If still not showing, wait another 5 sec and press left and press x.

For audio, go to Sound Settings and set SCART or RGB as your sound output and save.

Hope it will work for you guys. :)

  • hello i see you are very active on your coments so i just want to ask how can i fix my error :

wehen i turn my ps3 on in the menu where i can choce pictures, settings, games,films... and so on ... its a 1080p graphic but when i go to a game the graphic tturns into 720p and i hate it ... so if u know the error pliss help me becus i want to play in a full hd graphic

( my monitor is full HD )

  • @rokmozinaa that is not the error with your ps3. it is because your game only support 720p. Not ps3 itself. it will be 1080p if your game support 1080p. ie: GT5 Prologue

  • I have my PS3 connected with hdmi-dvi. The problem is, i cant play DVD's. Have you already got a solution, of shall i give it up..?

  • @NLRubenNL DVD needs lower resolution which monitors can't support. thats why.. i cant get it working. not sure if you will..
