Tigercrap- Hair Metal and Classic Metal is about all I listen to. I can't stand new music hardly at all. I'm a teen of this age and you have to give acceptions to your rule. Not all kids have no appreciation for awesome riffs. I have a couple friends who like real music too. NOt as much as me, though.

thrash metal, black metal, and death metal all have great guitarists and are very complex forms of msuic..especially death meta...youre an idiot...ever hear of dave mustaine, kirk hammet, dimebag darrell, or chuck schuldiner?..they are fucking beasts at guitar and a hell of a lot better lead players than those like warrenn demartini or matthias jabs...not saying theyre not great cuz the definitely are..but the only thing they beat extreme metal guitarists is that they can make better melodies

if anybodys gonna hate on metal it should be nu metal, deathcore, metalcore, rap metal, and new powermetal...all that shit makes this band seem like cannibal corpse....long live thrash, glam and ratt bitch

Listen to some Death or Atheist;or Megadeth,old Metallica or Anthrax then.

Heavy Metal (including Glam), has many great guitarists and memorable songs! Thrash, Death, Punk, Grunge, etc has virtually no talent or produced anything memorable but simple 3 chord progressions and yelling. You couldn't name 2 great guitarist or solos from that lame genre. It's just a bunch of noise...Kids today can't appreciate the melodies and great guitar virtuoso's just because it's old or that the new stuff is louder? Till I die, I will still be listening to Maiden, VH, Scorps, etc.
