jews need to stop takling about nazi germany

I thought this movie was well done. I've seen it three times.

Like Berlinski said: "It's not a sufficient reason, but a necessary one". Not that I'm mirroring, but I think it's well put. What Hitler was doing was selective breeding in human to have a race of "perfection". It seems to take some, if not a lot, from evolution - were evolution implies black people are a progression from apes, etc. And yes, it is human intervened evolution - someone might call it barbaric, social darwinism. But, I see how it could annoy a humane evolutionist.
-
@4444Werty And I can't stress this enough. The social darwinism idea is so fallacious it is insulting to human reason.
Nazism is social evolution.
You believe in evolution? Then you must think the Nazis were right.
There is a reason only scientists are allowed to do science.

@4444Werty Expelled made the argument that Dawkins considered ID a real possibility. He doesn't.
They make him sound inconsistent. He isn't.
They make the argument that Darwin was a racist. He wasn't.
Finally, this movie can lay siege to evolution all it wants (albeit pathetically) but at the end of the day, it has to prove that ID is worth pursuing. But it's not. I would like to see ONE biologist, not motivated by religion, who has looked at the evidence and believes in ID.

@Kruezoraxe And about the quote mining all the clips in the film are all conclusive except a few. Btw I looked at the quote mining video by Dawkins and it is pretty much the same format as was in the film. I don't see the inconsistency.

@4444Werty The ID paper had nothing to do with academic suppression of ID. It had to do with not following the rules of peer-review which is the foundation for science.

@Kruezoraxe Never heard these problems. The ID paper author may have done so to prevent tampering - I don't know. But it was clearly an arbitrary action on the university's part. Only a few clips are out of context. There appears to be no editing on the interviews and yes, evolutionary thought could lead to a rapid out come of survival of the fittest.
Christianity is historically reliable? Are you serious?

@jackbliss How? His voice is dripping with sarcasm.
They're talking about evolution and its "bad philosophy". It's an attack through emotion. "I don't believe because I don't like it". That is ridiculous. Most of the atheists I know are actually quite happy and feel blessed for life.
What the hell does the last 1/2 of the movie have to do with evolution, biology, or science? The Holocaust analogy is heinous. Hitler got his ideas from a criminally superficial reading of Nietzsche not Darwin
