Ron Paul on Glen Beck 2-24-09

Ron Paul was on the Glenn Beck show discussing one world government. It's funny how fast Glenn Beck has jumped on the bandwagon about one world government. If my memory recalls it was about a year ago or so that Glenn Beck had Ron Paul on his show and was basically disagreeing with almost everything Ron Paul had to say.

Glenn Beck is just trying to build his image around Ron Paul supporters since he realized every time Dr. Paul is on any TV program, people listen. Especially when it comes to economics and the monetary policy.

And if "you people" did not have a memory of a vegetable and paid attention for the last 2 1/2 years, you would understand his not doing Dr. Paul a service but to himself. As for your precious mass media outlet they are in it for the ratings. I suggest to put down the corporate Kool-aid.

@shiftstart Augh, this is semantics. I'm using the literal version of the word "dictate", not this extrapolated version that people always associate the likes of Fidel Castro to. Libertarians do dictate, they speak with authority (the literal version of the word "dictate"), they enforce laws if need be, they live by the rule of law, therefore they dictate.

Conservatism is just as bad as Liberalism, they're just two sides of the same coin.

You used the magic word, dictate. Real conservatives do not dictate precisely because the real political philosophy around it was never structured around dictating others. If and when you see someone is being told how to live whether they have an R, D or I around the name, they are practicing in a liberal manner. Also libertarians do not dictate. Simply put, live and let live.

Conservatives dictate that you live one one, Liberals dictate that you have to live another way, Libertarians dictate that you live however you want as long as you don't impose upon the rights of others.

I don't pay much attention to Beck normally...and he's a little naive on some things but generally, I get the feeling he's a good guy that just doesn't get the whole picture.....or just can't believe it...
