James Delingpole floored by climategate question

Leading Climate Change denier and James Delingpole lost for words following a question by Sir Paul Nurse.

Delingpole later reportedly complained to the BBC that he had been "intellectually raped" by Nurse.

There is a consensus that 2+3=5. There is a consensus that 3 x 5 = 15. Because these consensuses exist we can do great things like put satellites in space, and treat cancer, and exchange information a light speed. So when this Delingpole ignoramus sits back and smugly suggest that 2+3 might not be 5, and that there is a socialist conspiracy where public schools zombify children into believing 2+3 is 5, he is doing more harm than whatever good he dreams he's doing in his small mind.

The entire Global Warming/Climate Change alarmism movement could be held side by side with religion and the 2 ideologies would be almost identical. Don’t let yourself get baptised by the Church of Climatology without investigating the actual empirical evidence first.
