Perhaps the shortest supplemental image campaign I've seen implemented on the station... I recall seeing these promos run either on weekends or occasionally during the overnight hours at the end of 2002 and over the first few months of 2003. None of the on-air branding actually changed to complement it, and it was essentially done away with later that year.
The proof of it's random, and infrequent appearances is actually in this video! I just happened to be flipping through and had to turn the VCR in the midst of my flipping.
The package itself is syndicated to a number of other stations, and was produced by Gari Communications.
Probably my favorite campaign KPRC did. I miss Hometown News.
