Okay, here's the deal. That guy there was trying to put you in a trance, (not that there is really such thing, you don't go into a "trance" when hypnotised, there are just times where you may be more suggestible, like when you are zoned out, or confused.) Anyway, he did this really badly and obviously, and from this video, I'd say he is a terrible Hypnotist, but I'm not one for snap judgements, (well I am, but I don't want to cause any arguments here.)

It's called disassociation, not a trance. Hypnotism is of the occult and thoroughly evil as you are controlling the other person's will.
