It hurts for me to admit this, but UCLA's Drumline is in fact better than USC's Drumline. The line as a whole is a lot cleaner. You can hear it in the snares if you compare the two lines. UCLA pis able to play a lot tighter and cleaner.
I am saying that it hurts to admit it because I am and always will be a USC fan. :)

@omg101man Ucla's drumline is way better then Usc..
-
@omg101man You, sir, don't have any idea what you're saying.
-
@KBoe4 your jealous because USC is #1 in the country for marching band and drumline

I seriously doubt it was 10 hours straight of playing. I've done full days of rudimental stuff. Once you've built up your chops, it's no big deal. Also, I've heard lots of college lines that sound better. University of Illinois, North Texas, Michigan State...hell, even Eastern Illinois is as good if not better. Like I said, if you can't hear the schlocki-ness, then you don't know how to listen.

@dfisk79 A) this isn't a corp. B) Let's see how your chops feel after 10 hours of playing. C) There are few college lines that can boast even this level of cleanliness.

@kaikaichen agreed

Uh....most of the rolls and big rim shots were all schlocky. If you can't hear it, then you don't know what to listen for.
-
I couldn't find a single spot that sounded particularly unclean... don't know what you're talking about.

My high school plays this cadence, only there's more bass drums involved, and it sounds really epic.
i say tht ucla has a betr cadence than usc no offense!

USC's football team may be dominating yours, but UCLA's drumline is dominating USC's....
