It's funny the G8 was eligible because it was first produced in 2006 as the Holden VE Commodore, 3 years later it was exported to north america as the g8.

Why are they giving awards out to expensive cars that do not sell??? They should have a minimum projected sales to be "car of the year". How many people are going to look at this review and say, Yep, I am buying the $65K nissan because it is car of the year...

Oh Jesus here we go. I work at a Honda dealership, have worked there for a year and a half now. RARELY do i see Civics with over 150,000. The most I saw was 380,000 miles and it drove like it was about to die any second. Commend it for reaching that mark but I must say i had a 1994 Chevy Silverado that I sold at 250,000(give or take a few hundred) miles for almost $4500. Hondas have their fair share of heaps too. So many of those damn things with trans and engine oil leaks it's not funny.
