I have never launched mine....kinda don't wanna mess anything up but my friend said u can also pull both paddles back instead of the shifter forward

@RIXAMGETR ur right, the only thing u have to do is that when u put ur foot on the gas pedal put it gently until the RPM reaches the rev-limiter. Otherwise, you will be activating the burnout mode..

@RIXAMGETR you're right that is the only way to "launch" an E60 M5. You can modulate the throttle and all that but that is technically a launch and its the only way to do it. I should know I've owned one

@rifo87 Are you sure rifo87? :) How would they differ then in actual moves to engage them: S6, DSC off, shifter to front, gas to floor: and then release the shifter. That's the only way to do the Launch Control Launch on E60 M5 that I know. Which one is it then and how do you do the other than? :) Happy motoring! ps I know, you posted a year ago...

That wasn't a proper launch Franz .... there are two kinds of launch controls if u dont know .. Burnout mode and Limited Slip Mode ... and that one was the Burnout Mode cuz it was just hitting the rev limiter !! ... but doesn't matter cuz the video is freaking Sexeeeh
