Part 1. While fishing for Smallmouth on Lake Vermillion hooked this Muskie. You may want to turn the volume down, it was a very windy day. The comments my wife makes when I netted it are pretty funny if you can hear them. The part of the video where the camera is laid down is when we had to start the motor and chase the fish down to recover line, it just about spooled me. The pole is a 7 foot Berkley medium IM6 graphite. The line is Trilene XT 8 # low vis green. The reel is a Mitchell G2000 The lure is a $1.98 Renegade, sold at Wal-Mart, the best small mouth lure ever made. You get to see the fish landed in this video, you have to watch part two for the release and a better shot of the fish.

holy shit!!, haha. i was thinkin about gettin some trilene xl in 20-25 lb test for salmon this summer and this just set my mind to yes! nice catch by the way
