High Definition Marvel vs Capcom 2 Sega Dreamcast nullDC 720p

Video is a little buggy because of the program (FRAPS) i was using to record the gameplay. When im not recording video, the game runs like butter at 1680x1050 resolution.

this is not nullDC...since when did the DC version support wide screen?

Yes this is NullDc. There is a setting to turn on "extra geometry" that emulates the game for widescreen or any other format other than 4:3. Doesnt work in all games but does in most. Dolphin (the wii and gamecube emulator) does the same thing with old Gamecube games.

I found the extra geom setting, but I still see it in 4:3

oh well, I guess my video card isnt capable

Yeah its bin a while since i've used nullDc. I believe i may have set the resolution by altering the config file to a 16:9 aspect. I cant remember if the settings allowed you to choose a widescreen aspect or not, i think they were all 4:3.

But i think i remember being able to resize the window while it was playing too... Or i might be thinking of something else. Its been awhile since i used it and i deleted all the games :(

@VAR1UM i can tell it doesnt work for most games cos this kinda has glitches where its supposed to hav ethe widscreen effect

Yeah its experimental. These games were never supported for widescreen. Nothing you control ever leaves that center 4:3. Some games work and some dont. I think crazy taxi and jet set radio do... but trickstyle and soul calibur dont. :(

I have a amall problem.

I used the "Extra Geom" on Nulldc and i got MVC2 to work in widescreen.

but the problem is as soon as it says loading memory, the sidebars stay

exactly the same, no matter what until I exit the game. like the game

was letterboxed with blue sidebars instead of black. is there anyway i can

fix this?

yo tengo este juego en el emulador nulldc pero solo tengo un problema que el sonido no funciona del todo bien, la version del nulldc que tengo es la ultima de las ultimas que salio este 2010, pero no va bien por que le faltan sonidos como por ejemplo cuando estas escogiendo personajes la cancion de la chica ded fonfo no se escucha,

si alguien me ayuda por favor.

The DL version was in 1080p only anyway so actually also Capcom never wanted to port it to wii anyway
