I have noticed that there are more Zangief fans than there are Haggar fans. Just want to point that out.

May i just say that Zangief is one of my favourites to play as (annoys my mates) but i think i may prefer to play as haggar he looks like a much better wrestler than Zangief plus he has a pipe so I agree Zagief is good but the removal of Zangief and addition of Haggar actually makes the game appeal more to me just like M.O.D.A.K's addition i'd like to see the new faces rather than the old reappearing ones the diversity could be very good.

Anybody who ISN'T psyched about Haggar either:
A: Never played Final Fight, thus not knowing or realising the sheer amount of EPICNESS Haggar is.
or B: Call him a Zangief clone even though final fight came first, therefore making ZANGIEF the clone

Capcom is trying to showcase diversity, there is a character or a group of characters in this game to please almost everyone. Its extremely diverse and its great, if you don't like a few characters then just focus on the ones you DO like and thats that.

I totally agree with you. I'm just fed up with people whining about characters they don't like and characters they'd like to get in that game.

Capcom has to choose among all the characters created by both companies. They just can't please everybody and put every asked character in this game ... though I would really like one day, to find a good fighting game with over a hundred characters (and I mean characters worth playing with).
