hmmmmmmmm if patient have ( brucsism )and grinde his natural teeth during night .It a matter of time before he does the same exact same thing to the compsite wich is much weaker than the natural teeth enamel . THan the whole thing have to be repeted again .Veners are not a good option for patients with strong bite, deep traumatic bite or brucism . But than again this is a comercial they want to SELL SELL SELL .............

i just had this done from canine to canine upper and lower and I am thrilled with the results. I wish I had done this early, it just took getting over fear of the dentist. There was no pain. The only thing that bothered me was the grinding noise when the teeth were being shaped, but a small price to pay for a great smile. The "fangy" tooth is no more.

@TheKnightDivine No, you cannot whiten bonding or porcelain veneers. You should whiten PRIOR to getting either that way the shade is matched to your new, whiter smile. :) They can be polished but that doesn't always remove stains as bonding is porous. Veneers are not porous so they will stay the exact same shade, so make sure you have your teeth as white as you'd like prior to doing either. :)

@MeganKimberley Filing the tooth removes surface area, something that usually isn't done with bonding but rather veneers. Bonding is less intrusive, usually with no tooth structure removed. Enamel and dentin is porous and stains seep into the tooth. A good dentist will have you bleach your teeth prior then match the shade. You can ask for a more translucent look as well.A good dentist will know how to gradient the colour making it lighter near the incisal edges. Boding isn't permanent, can chip.

@MeganKimberley, I don't want to say that I don't disagree with your comment because I haven't gotten ALL of my teeth done. Although, half of my front tooth was chipped and got some bonding done to it... My friends say that can't see anything and no one can even tell that my tooth has been chipped. Looks just like my other tooth and is not porous.
Haha why did this video pop up in my "recomended videos" box? And why did i watch it.. HAHA

I think these photos have had a fair bit of photoshopping done to them! I know a few people who have had bonding done to their front teeth and it's definitely not undetectable. The composite looks very opaque whereas natural tooth surfaces have more depth to them (which can otherwise only be achieved with veneers, implants etc). Expect bonding to stain incredibly easily as the material is more porous than natural enamel. I'm not saying that you shouldn't do it; just be aware of the downpoints.
