  • It sounds great. Canada must be beautiful..

  • Sorry, but I don't know. A friend of mine bought a Mp3 player and this music was in it. We had to find out the information but we don´t know anything about the performance.

  • @logarithmic7 There was a video of Lily Pons singing "Song of the Indian Guest" but it was taken off for a

copyright violation over a year ago. It is really a shame, so many others have been removed also.

  • I wish someone on Youtube would post Lily Pons singing ''Song of India''. So hauntingly beautiful.

  • it's beautiful..................

    LOVE IT.

  • The best violin version I have found on the YouTube.

  • @KaiserAl32

    Hi KaiserA132,

I believe I know who played this,

I left a brief introduction about the violinist in a new comment,

check it if you are interested!

    Best regards,

    Yishu from Taiwan.

  • @ElijahKS

    Hi ElijahKS,

no offense but I wish to tell you I think the violinist is someone other than Nicolas Koeckert.

I have the album which this rendition comes from,

listened for a hundreds time and made comparison with this clip for a few times,

I'm pretty sure this is played by Maestro Naiyuan-Hu from Taiwan.

By the way, thanks for introducing Nicolas Koeckert, he is a wonderful violinist too!

    All the best, cheers!

    Yishu from Taiwan.

  • You can visit the "List of Laureate" page in the website of the Internatoinal violin competition of Indiana, scroll down that page and you will get his biography.

Hope you all like it, cheers!

    Yishu, from Taiwan

  • Hi VerdePantene,

I was trying to type a comment for your video,

however I didn't know youtube doesn't allow us to post any URL links in the comments, it came out with some error. So that's why I left an empty comment below, sorry I'm not doing that purposely.

Hi, I believe this is played by a Taiwanese violinist Maestro Naiyuan-Hu,

Gold-medalist of the prestigous Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition in 1985.
