Mrs. Debra Culberson oldest daughter Carrie Culberson 22 year old was murdered by Carrie's abusive ex-boyfriend Vincent Doan.
In Blanchester, Ohio On Aug 28Th 1996.

Vincent then with the help of his 1/2 brother Tracey Baker hide Carrie's car and body where it cannot be found. With the help of Vincent's family and their friends the cover up goes on to this day and Carrie's body is still missing.

As where Mrs. Culberson's pain is great over this and Vincent Doan family goes onto threaten her life and the life of her other daughter. In the twisted thinking that doing something to Mrs. Culberson will some how get Vincent out of prison where he is doing LWOP. This has not kept Mrs. Culberson down.

She has become a tireless advocate for battered woman and missing persons.
As the only spokesperson for the Culberson's family she also goes on to look for Carrie's remains.

Mrs. Debra Culberson where as she may not be as well known as other POMC like John Walsh, Sharon Rocha, Beth Holloway Twitty, Debra Tate, and other well known victim advocate. However, Mrs. Culberson stand "head and shoulders" with all them.
We can only wonder how a mother can find the strength that Mrs. Culberson has in the face of such evil that was done to Carrie at the hands of Vincent Doan. And the evil that he and his family still does to Mrs. Culberson.

With the mother of Becky Kraemer (Missing Wi. Girl and domestic violence victims ) Mrs. Karren Kraemer. They started "The Broken Wings Network "

The Broken Wings Network is a not-for-profit Oconomowoc Wi - based organization dedicated to providing education and resources to the community, county and state for the prevention of domestic violence and homicide.

The Broken Wings Network's vision is to advocate for change while helping victims of domestic abuse and partnering with the families of the missing and murdered. http://www.thebrokenwingsnetwork.com

Mrs. Debbie Culblerson achievement's are too numerous to ever list. She is also too humble to tell everyone of all of them anyway. Staying "down to earth"
She does not see herself as a remarkable woman. But she is very much one.

She is known as a kind and caring person to anyone that is in need of her help. An extraordinary person, And she is a mover and shaker. Her achievements are many.

The most resent thing she has done has gotten done is to get the US Congress to pass a bill mandating a national DNA bank for found and Unidentified human remains.

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) is the first national repository for missing persons and unidentified decedent records. Unidentified decedents are people who have died and whose bodies have not been identified.

Mrs. Culberson also sit on many broads for victim advocate centers, Battered woman centers, even going into prisons to speak to men about what can happen if they keep on battering woman.

She is also known as a "personal good friend" to anyone that has had the tragedy of a murdered and / or missing person in their life.

She is a "Quiet Hero" And a personal hero to many that know her.
This video is my Christmas gift to her. 2010

Please see my other video to see the story of Carrie.

  • my heart goes out to the family of this beautiful girl. as a victim of domestic violence and survivor, one of things i see in the women that i have met is that we all minimized how serious our situation was because of the way we were treated "like it couldn't be that bad" it is that bad when you are put in hospital due to abuse, and your family won't help you! i diddn't wan't to die, so i left with my child; who witnessed the whole thing. society should make it easier for victims to escape!
