A Movie Maker short dedicated to CajsaStina Åkerström, one of my all-time favorite artists.
The music is an intrumental cut I edited from her song "Minnen". The keyboard instrumentation and programming is by Kristoffer Wallman.
Another shot at stop-motion syncronization in Movie Maker. I did most of this on WMM 1.0, and Serif Impact Plus 4.0.
I especially like the combination morph and flip - that really turned out cool! I did the forest background as a skin on a rotating cylinder, but from the inside, for a 3-D carrousel effect. The flying saucer through Reykjavik was done using a 3-D program against a 2-D background - that was a toughie, getting the shadows to come out right. The silver quarter was photographed on a flatbed scanner and turned clockwise several times to get the illusion of the light traveling around it. The final fly-in with the door on Mars was the original concept that quickly ballooned into this little short.
Sorry for the quality (320 x 240 pxl - 780 kps). Hope to get a new computer with better imaging capabilites soon.
Cool video!
