No doubt about it. America is addicted to oil. We've had shortages & price hikes before, but this is definitely not your parents' energy crisis. Today, kicking the habit is an urgent necessity. Urgent because we're funding both sides on the war on terrorism...

  • couldn't care less for stupid birds smashing to pulp. They'll adapt. If Holland in the 1700's had made a fuss about stupid birds against their windmills, would they been able to build their huge economic empire? America wouldn't have been "bought" from the native peoples..hence..No America as we know it would exist .

Hmmm..on second thought, I wish Holland had stunted their successful early industries ran by Windmill-Power.. Would have saved the Indidgenous people a whole lot of grief..

  • Wind and Solar are the future. Oil is done !

  • Would guards work on those fans? It'd be nice for the birds.

  • This documentary has some wrong facts. Solar energy is getting cheaper and cheaper each year. The same with any other technology, the more you mass produce it the cheaper it gets. In germany the price per watt installed on a home has come down to less than $4.00. In Canada the price per watt is high at about $7.00 cdn. That's because germany has about 16 Giga watts installed and canada only about 1 Giga watt installed. The truth is the oil comany CEO's and politicians dont want change in USA

  • Those birds dumb enough to get hit by wind turbine blades are only days from being eaten by predators.

  • "God bless America - holy feck, we're going down !"

  • Wow, for the last few years I have not used oil for transportation. The two facts are 1. I live local 2. I ride my bicycle

Only problem is no big corprations make money off it. : (

I just have to put up with crazy lazy americans in ther cars.

  • I wish they would too. Kind of speed things up you know. At the rate things are going in 50 years Saudis will be back to selling rugs for 50 cents while those Sheikhs you spoke of abandon thier country and take thier money elsewhere.

  • Bin Laden Land is what I am going to call it from now on.
