Blues for John Mayall -- Instrumental -- Old School

This is a BLUES number in the style of old John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers recordings circa 1966. Mayall is one of my biggest influences, especially the music he created during the Peter Green era and through about the mid-1970's.

I was lucky enough to see Peter Green in 1972 with Fleetwood Mac when they were still a blues band. The concert was on Boston Common.


I played this on the 1976 Electra Omega X210 guitar through the 1973 Peavey theClassic amplifier. The 1976 Electra is a Les Paul Custom with a jacaranda fingerboard and the funktastic Electra Magnaflux 50 pickups.
