Wow. Thanks for sharing. It would absolutely be my biggest dream to meet these scientists.

Honestly, the thing is, they devoted very little time to actually let the debate topic fully develop, therefore I think every speaker just went for what they perceived to be their strongest points. And of course, when one has the words "purpose" and "universe" in the title, its pretty naive to think that its not going to quickly turn into a God vs No God discussion.
But I agree, your summation is spot on.
Cheers.

Cmon, dont underestimate yourself. The conference had many topics, and aside from some complicated topics on physics, it was all pretty basic.
Anyways, thanks for commenting.

Lucky. You deserve it though, I wouldn't even know what they're talking about! At least I can watch your channel and benefit from such interactions that way.

That was a great debate. I thought WLC was a prick trying to change the debate into an argument about atheists need to prove that God doesn't exist.
The best point I took away from it. In a created universe evidence would be top down, but in our universe we see the opposite, bottom up, life started out simple and evolved and became more complex.

@djosephallen I'm going to watch the debate 1st, I'm 15 minutes into it and took a break to let it buffer because it's pausing. :-(
My Spanish is rusty but I understand most of the introduction. I don't think most Americans will appreciate the boxing ring as much as they do in Mexico. (Boxeo y Lucha libre) I was almost expecting to see Julio Cesar Chavez or Blue Demon make an appearance. :-)
Back to the debate, thanks for the link.

Hey Kolin. Thanks man. I had your questions, but unfortunately they left almost no time to ask them. So I couldn't. But thanks for your ideas. And thanks for your comment.
