Running through the Danube
It's gonna poison everything
But what's it matter if the Eiffel Tower is standing
And the Statue of Liberty still gleams

As long as we have
Tourist traps and gasoline
We have everything we need
It doesn't matter if the
Fish we cannot eat
We can grab a burger
At the Dairy Queen

Oh be thankful for
The corporations' plastic cards
300 channels turning little people into stars
And stars into God
And God into mythology
For little people like me

There's a river of red greed
Running through the heart and veins
It's gonna poison everything
But whats it matter if the bottom line is solid
And Midas touches the revenue streams

As long as we have
Swag and souvenirs
We have everything we need
It doesn't matter if the music that we hear
Is a beating pulse or a dying scream

Oh be thankful for
The corporations' plastic star
300 channels turning little cowards into czars
And czars into God
And God into mythology
For little people like me

I believe that things can change
If we get off this pre-arranged
Diet of empty things
Wouldn't it be nice to be thinking again?

@MikeRadmann I never really worry about form, but this one is actually a fairly good example of the ABABCB format. The Kids seem to be enjoying the workshop and it may even be getting a little press as reporter from our local paper showed up to cover it...LOL. Two more to give today and then a benefit concert on Friday, no rest for the wicked :)
