  • God bless you Shrew072, you are soooooo right!

  • @shrew972 I'm a typing fool, one superlative won't do. I followed Todd all through high school, went off him here and there, and like so many of us, have come back home to Todd and his Alice In Wonderland set to music. He's such a New Yorker, and I'm glad he's still true to his roots. Bearsville records should be credited for carrying an artist most record companies would have dropped c'os he does anything he wants, whenever he wants, He's doing it right this minute.

  • I looked up the most recent definition of PARADOX in Webster's Dictionary and found TODD. He was all you loved about him, still love, nothing you expected and exactly what you expected. You want LSD psychedelic prog rock? INTRO/MR. TRISCUITS, ANOTHER LIFE, THE SEVEN RAYS. Gentle pure "its okay to cry" THE LAST RIDE, CAN WE STILL BE FRIENDS ETC. Craziness, Goofiness, every NESS? BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! "And there's always more" Go ahead, guess what song that line's from.

  • @gleonard9 That sounds like a real good idea.

  • @ubelieveinme2oo - The amazing thing is, it takes me back there too, and I wasn't even born then. All it takes is to KNOW ABOUT these things for a song like this to have such an effect. It is that evocative of the social environment that gave birth to it. to listen to music like this is to feel the synapses of another person's brain being transplanted into yours across time and space and without leaving a physical artifact. The next time someone asks why you say music is "magic", tell them this.

  • Beginning to wonder if I'm beginning to lose it a little. Like maybe things are getting to me more than they should. This song is one of those that always hits me hard. Thanks for posting.
