@LDStothecore Daniel was a man of God.; Joe Smith was given to gold, glory & girls. 1Tim. 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. Titus 1:6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. Not only did Joe think self above the law but also the Holy Bible.

@LDStothecore What do ANTI-Christ Mormons do? They continue to blatantly bear frequent & FALSE systematic witness against the blessed & beloved bride & body of Christ for whom He suffered His shed BLOOD, speaking & writing the lies they MISbelieve from the Father of lies, who is only created like you & NOT UNcreated as is the Christ of God. If Mormons do not get right Who the One True God Is, how can they be the one true church? If the foundation is false how can the structure be sure? LDS=CULT.

@pilottim79 There is far more to Mormonism not being Christianity than LDS vaunting themselves above the laws of the land. As for anyone hating Mormons because they disagree with Mormon twistology of theology, sedition of addition & infusion of confusion is patently silly. LDS history is hysterical. Its roots are rotten, its structure sick. That it has claim to 'revelation' is typically devilation. Smith & spiders bear false witness against the beloved body & bride of Christ as they always have.

The only men who become Gods, even the songs of God, are those who enter into polygamy Journal of Discourses Vol 11 page 269. This is church history, May not be practice now, but it was very active in the church. I beleive everything these ladies are saying, it has proves of their words,!! Look at church history. Again Look at church history.

@tastefulphrasing Ok, your talking about a completely different time and location. I am talking about the Mormons in Utah and the whole Utah War era. I am talking about the US constitution, not some local state statute. Obviously you are an anti-Mormon and will hate Mormons no matter what. Even if Mormons broke a local law in Illinois in 1833. That far from disqualifies them from Christianity or any other discussion.
-
@pilottim79 Actually in Illinois it was illegal in 1833, so again, please shut it.
-
@tastefulphrasing wow, you know you can use the internet to look things up right? The USA made polygamy illegal in 1862. Mormons had been practicing it for over 20 years before that law was passed. Therefore making polygamy legal when they began practicing. If I had children by a wife I wouldn't abandon them because some law made my marriage illegal, but I would observe the law from there on.
-
@tastefulphrasing What is not true? Also, I have learned that anti-Mormons spout their garbage, but when confronted with the truth from LDS they block us and ignore our questions. Hmmm.
-
Actually it was illegal, I just looked it up. So please shut up.
Whole organization has been involved with blatant lies from its founding to this day. It is very sad that TBMs can find all manner of excuses to justify the constant lying that has always been a part of the LDS organization. It really has been more about money and power than any type of truly religious theme.

Wilford Woodruff did say that they weren't going to practice polygamy--but he married another woman 7 years later . . .
