  • agreed :]

  • i loooove this video .. love the song. I know that greg was kinda fucked up, but this is the point why i love this vid alot !! being realistic and dinamic !! i know that he's really good in playing drums, can see it from the techniques, but i think the prob was lots of dinamic beats running around his head so sudden, so ended up he smash everything offbeat but still cool!! arent u guys just bored to those ordinary players? thx for submitting this video tojotproduction!

  • lol, i totally agree with you. i actually got to meet and talk with greg briefly and he is a genuinely nice guy and so down to earth! :):) ah, deerhoof so rocks :D

  • greg meant everything he did in this song! i don't understand where he fucked up

  • o, lol, i agreed to loving the video and song, but not greg messing up. yeah, to me greg did everything the way he wanted it to be

  • by which I mean Dietrich, not the other guy

  • If you listen to any recording of Twin Killers you can hear that they screw around with the tempo for the whole song.

If there's anyone who messes up occasionally it's the guitarist; especially in "Spirit Ditties" there's this one tricky riff where there's about a 10% chance of him screwing up

  • nah i think hes seriously just fucking around and he did screw up the timing alttle bit but thats just cuz he gets so into it, and that freedom is part of their sound i guess, I prolly would do that too live lol

  • exactly. they are so damn tight

  • Exquisite freedom and structure, reasonable sound too. And yes, they like to sound like they are fcking up the tempo sometimes. Be assured it's intentional and part of the fun.

  • Greg is God and does no wrong. Get a clue, Deerhoof newbies. It's called improv.

  • Greg can do what he wants and it's always good

  • i've seen deerhoof twice and greg never fucks up. never. it may sound weird in the video but in real life it sounds killer.
