placing letters in the temple is ONLY a custom it doesn't do anything but make the person feel closer to G-d (if you will) while praying towards the temple mount on the other hand especially in the time of exile that we are living in is from the words of the prophets :I Kings 8:33, 2 Chron 6:20-39 ,Dan. 6:1

@khoniliouskulleh A Jew is a person who has a Jewish mother. Jews are a people all descendants of Abraham Issac and Jacob. A Zionist is anyone who believes that all the Jews should move to Israel & fill the Land making a Jewish state so the Messiah will come.

@613degrees A kosher Ger (ie orthodox conversion) is a Jew and if you ask him/her what their mother's name is, I bet that they say Sarah
