I have some odd hobbies, and geodesics is one of them. I built this from cardstock (it's basically thick paper or flimsy cardboard). It is a 3v (frequency) geodesic sphere, has 180 faces and is about 16 inches in diameter. The sides look the same length, but there are actually 3 different lengths which create 2 sizes of isosceles triangles that connect together in a particular pattern. I realize this is completely pointless to build, but it's just too damn cool!

(and sorry the video quality isn't the greatest...it's much sweeter in person)
