Aircraft Landing Light test. LED, HID and two sealed beam incandescent lights compared. This test relates to lights available to be installed on most light aircraft.

  • I'm doing some shopping tonight in search of upgrading my Honda CRX's headlights. HID lights are obviously the new fad and I'm interested in how three HID lights would compare against your three LED lights. Also, interested in what is available for the Pa-31 and C340's I'm currently flying N of 60. Good video with the exception of you didn't test three HIDs to three LEDs.

    Regards,

  • Dear Sir. I do prefer this video. Well, you are using 3 LEDs . The previous test was using only ONE LED. I do suggest that like on the option on the HUSKY, you install 2 LEDs on each wing and that will be the perfect landing lights. Thanks for your comments. I do agree with you that LEDs seem to do a better job. Regards. Alex
