I've been playing for a few months on a Lanikai LU-21C and I love it, it runs about 80-100 bucks (think mine was 89? can't remember exactly)
And definitely check the ukuleleunderground forums, they've been a GREAT source of information.

Thanks for the video response. You can check out ukulele underground for more info on beginner ukes. There's a lot of threads on the forum of beginners asking and buying ukes. So good examples can be found there. If not then I guess you can check out musicguymic's ebay store for some good deals :D Hope that helps.
