In the desert, it's water comes from it's food (other animals). Human-supplied food usually doesn't have the same amount of fluids in it.

Why is it SO adorable just watching it drink water? Just can't get enough of these fennec fox videos, even hearing them screech when they get excited is heart-warming. To Robeyta, s/he(?) is gorgeous!
