2004 Mustang Mach 1 vs 2011 Mustang GT 5.0

My orange mach vs the grabber blue GT 5.0. I was really surprised that the mach held its own. I ran 13.8 in the mach and he ran a 13.4 in the 5.0. Both are almost stock except for exhaust

what tires are you running? that was a damn good launch for a stock mach 1.. mines modded and i still cant launch like that

@marquis781 The tires are Fierce Instinct ZRs...they were just some really cheap stuff off of tire rack i believe, but also the best tires ive had for that car (funny how that works)

granted..weather conditions were pretty perfect that night

i wounder how good my would run if your running a 13.8. i have o/r h, mac cat back, jlt cold air, 4.10s and a cheap tune

@thepoonpunisher a well driven mach can run 12's with just D/R's. both these guys must need more wheel time

Im confused, my bolt on 2v runs mid 13's on street tires in middle of summer. How you only run 13.8? Idk figured the mach could run quicker.

@lgenve if you check out the yt video titled leon`s mach 1, that is me in my car with similar mods to yours on a 90 degree day with a good bit of humidity.
