INFORMATION:
Starring Haley Caradoc-Hodgekins and Justin Theroux.

The video does not star any members of Muse, and was filmed in a "hotel room" set in London in 2003. The story is that the main character (Theroux) falls in love with a prostitute, and then trashes his hotel room in the frustration that he cannot have a relationship with her, after slapping her causing her to fall off the bed and then run down the hallway in just her underwear. Much of the video was filmed using a Sony Digicam, for a sleazy dramatic effect.

Bellamy was originally going to play the part in the video, but decided that his acting skills weren't good enough and was too embarrassed.

There are 2 versions, the TV Version the Director's Cut (found on the Hysteria DVD Single) having more girls on camera (this was cut for the US version as the "sex" was deemed too graphic).

This video also has a striking resemblance to that of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" that the site shows a shot-for-shot likeness to each of the videos.

  • (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Music vid in a nut shell.

  • @mohal322 You are correct sir/maam

  • i just looked it up. and it is. interesting.

  • is that the guy jennifer aniston is dating? or am i just being really irrelevant?

  • @TheVerisimilitude One more thing: SO the video seems to be a reflection of the man's conscience--seeing the horror of what he intends to do--and watches horrified as he still goes through it. Think of it as an out-of-sequence mindfuck.

  • @TheVerisimilitude Additionally, I looked it up, and the analysis isn't far from truth. The scene is based off of one from the movie "The Wall" (Pink Floyd) where a man stalks and picks up a prostitute--again, seemingly to beat the everloving shit out of and/or kill her.

  • @MrLil61228 I think he might be one of those nuts who pays for prostitutes and beats the everloving shit out of them for being whores. The frustration in the early parts of the video seem to be his conscience, which catches up to him. The end of the video shows where it aaaaaaaaaall began.

  • @Coolmandang Haha, i enjoy this song and one others of theirs, this video to me looks like a rip off of "One of my Turns" from pink floyd (The wall movie music video that is) so i did enjoy the video as well :P its to bad you didn't like the song.

  • @Coolmandang Get the fuck out.
