i got this walkera 4 3 about a week ago off ebay it has a metal head and i bought the canopy from buzz fly, i have put some supports on the tail boom and it works great i have orded a brushless motor from america it shoul come soon, i will post a vid and tell you if i think its worth it, its the second helicopter ive bought, i had a walkera 22e and i sold it because every time i crashed i had to buy spares, what a waste of time, but this is amazingly strong and stable. please if you have any tips or comments or ideas for me to make it better it would be great to hear from you, it seems a bit glitchy as i have the fm tranmitter:/
cheers
danny

  • Just seen a walkera 43q on eBay for 99.00 what do you think?

  • there tricky for your first helicopter cs there so small i would not get that, i got a 4 3a a lam2 and a lama2 that was broken with transmitter for all of them and spares for 70 quid but i wouldn't get a second hand one cus u never know if they are goodens or badens 99 quid is expensive for a 4 3 mate

  • Thanks for getting back to me. I am looking at this one to start at the moment Walkera 22E 2.4G What do you think?

Would prefer to buy a cheaper one on ebay to learn with as its all new to me.

  • no worries

i wouldn't reccomend the 22e because it not like really up to 3d flight (inverted rolls loops etc) so when you get onto that stuff you will have to change your helicopter anyway its a nice helicopter to fly normaly but if you crash you will have to buy spares most of the time. as well as that 6 channel helis are a pain in the arse to set up if you dont know much about them. if i were you i would get a 4 channel helicopter like a walkera 4g1b, anymore questions just ask mate

  • nice flying how long did it take to learn?

  • thanks mate, about a week to do nose in, with the metal head there is hardly any fatal crahes so you dont lose confidence, extra batterys gives you more practice as well.:) ive uploaded a new vid of my new 4 3a

  • I love my little 4#3!! It is my second rc chopper (first was a little 2 ch).. And DAMN! Flying these little guys is harder than it looks! I still can't nose-in hover and I've had it for months. Just keep putting it off because when I try, I crash... hard. But thats why I love these little guys, You crash so hard you're sure it's broken, but nope, just brush it off, it's ok!

  • sorry i thought id replied but i must of gone off the internet. type chinese jade walkera in google it will be like the first site that comes up. it looks dodgy but its a great site really cheap and very reliable

  • Thanks for your help mate do you recomend any shops to get one or is there any on e bay u think might be suitable.

  • Hey thanks for your help,

how much are they? Would you recomend starting with something on eBay?

Hope to learn quick and maybe join a club.
