@dc8um He'd taken his heroin kit into the studio while recording the "Rimshots in the dark" album and it was found by the little son of the studio boss. Eelco and his fellow-guitar player Melle Jan Kleinsma were fired on the spot.

@dc8um Because of the "Needle and the damage done" remember that Neil Young tune,it says it all. It's a darn shame such a good player went down the drain man, if he would of kept clean the guy would still be a quality player like he once was, but I'm afraid that ain't the case anymore.

This was announced as the Harry Muskee Jubilee concert at the time, we were there in Vredenburg. Notice also Herman Brood on piano during the first few songs of the concert.
