putting some of the very insulting and ignorant comments made towards the police officer by some very low level 'pond life' to one side, what most people do not know about this and which the tv video narrators don't tell you, is that the police officer instantly lost both his legs against the crash barrier. A very sudden and immediate life changing moment for soemone who is simply a human being who was trying to do a job

I hope no one was badly injured in this accident. The officers did set themselves up for the possibility of something happening. Police officers constantly do not give themselves enough room for safety. They will block an entire lane of traffic just to write a ticket. And there attitude is that they can do what they want. And no one should question there motives, I guess it is to hard to use good judgment when you have a badge. They are lucky that none of them died!
