  • Nobles saw paradise as a land where time stood still in a perfect moment... where there is only happiness, where the is no future to worry about.

Wolves saw paradise in the flow of time... where life flows through the endless cycles of life and death, through hardship and joy... an ugly and beautiful world at the same time.

The nobles called Paradise "The sanctuary"

When The wolf was asked what paradise is he simply said "The future"

One is denying life, other embracing it... Beautiful...

  • Yes youre right, i cryed at the end...

  • This soundtrack was so beautiful, I doubt there will ever be another as enchanting.....

  • I don't if it's the combination of the sax and the paino, but this song just reaches out pulls on you heart,it's both joyful and sad at the same.So beautiful!!!

  • This is a great song. I mean REALLY great. Also, can anyone tell me the name of the song that plays in episode 1 when kiba tells hige his name?

  • @HachimitsuBoy85 and so as i saw the last scene with them guys out of that group i totally felt like they reached their paradise in just getting what the whole crowd was. To live as human beside humen. So that there is no sign to suffer vanishing into nothing.

  • @HachimitsuBoy85

for me it somehow seemed like this small group was looking for a change. For themselves to get out of this world, which nevermore had their true nature and space to live on at it.

Only and last point to live was the flower maiden which resembled the world like it was in ancient time and which gave a last glimpse of hope to them.

That this two different dominant races (human and wolves) have to live under the same horizon which went smaller and smaller.

  • The anime itself could have had a better presentation but Yoko Kanno is always amazing.

  • @HachimitsuBoy85 i remember why i need to finish this anime. I've never seen anything quite like this. I remember the scene where she pets them and they like die for it that always stuck with me . I remember when the noble asks him what he's living for: the promise of a new tomm. I believe art pushes ideas on us through different mediums if we pray to it enough.. flow and harmony are concepts that keep popping up at me this week. Thanks for the post and helping these conceptual chords resonate.

  • Yoko Kanno never ceases to give me goosebumps.

  • @themidnightjudge1

It's a soprano sax, it sounds nothing like an oboe.

  • @HachimitsuBoy85 I saw only few episodes.

I'll keep in my mind what you said, and I'll finish to watch this anime.
