  • Nice oboe playing, too. As for Schikele's singing, well... no comment. What orchestra was that?

  • The Greater Hoople Area Off-Season Philharmonic of course.

  • @ariastoteles I was pretty sure it was. There are probably more - and smarter - inside jokes in "Schickele-ville" than there are in a Monty Python film (Dietrich Fischer-Bauau, "Wachet Arf!," etc.). Thank you for un-baffling me!

  • @TheStockwell This a joke in the track: the conductor is "Walter Bruno". Only a innocent joke!

  • @ariastoteles I don't understand. Schickele conducted the work. It was released in 1989. Walter died in 1962. I'm baffled.

  • I heard this on KUSC today and had to hunt it down. Eeeexcellent.

  • This is very good, but it would be even better if the uploader had included the first half in a different video.

  • Hmmpp.... Johan Bach is Chubby! ⎝ᄽ⏝ᄿ⎠妤 ! 加油喔! But Beethoven is Cute When He is old haha

  • OMG I laughed so hard it hurt!

  • Walter Bruno!

  • The conductor is Bruno Walter !

  • Great and pomp! Greetings and great humor, hilarious profesor, smiley heart!
