  • @Nattakie92 I totally agree! The taxes on junk could subsudise the healthy fods to bring the prices down. We can only hope!

  • Prices of vegetables and fruit should be lowered and junk food should be taxed and sold for a higher price. It's ridiculous to think people don't look at what they're putting in their body. I've done a 180 on my health and I feel better for it. I barely drink alcohol anymore and I watch what I eat and exercise daily.

  • @PurpleHoneyBear Thanks for letting me know. hopefully it all chnages back to how it should be otherwise we are in a lot of trouble. The solution seems so simple...

  • In the US they subsidize the foods that go into making products that are full of empty calories, lots of sugar, lots of fat. Meanwhile, produce and meat products are more expensive than ever. So what you're seeing is the exact opposite of what should be happening. There should be subsidies for vegetable, fruit, nut, legume, and meat producers.

  • @TheOliviamolly It's so sad so many kids play sport, stop in their teens and never get active again leading them to an unfulfilling life, never living up to their potential, where they could be so much more :(

  • Fantastic video! I had to do a speech about this at my school. But sadly, even the statistics didn't change the students attitudes towards exercise.

  • Thanks for your support @brisbanette and yes those views are a perfect example of our society today. the junk food companies just have more and more money to advertise and market and any healthy fresh non processed foods just sit in the supermarkets shopping to be picked. So very sad.

  • Completely agree with everything you've said, ESPECIALLY with the part about taxing junk food. I honestly don't understand why this hasn't happened already :-/. Thanks for uploading this. Something I find really, really worrying (and sad) is the fact that this video only has 282 views where as all the commercials on this site for Coca Cola, Mars, Cadbury & McDonalds have thousands of views. Some even have millions. It really does *all* start at home. More parents need to watch this.
