Live in Esslingen at the St. Paul Muenster 2008-12-13. Al Andaluz Project is a collaberation between the medieval bands Estampie (Germany), L'Ham de Foc (Spain) and Aman Aman (Marroko). This song is a Arabo-Andaluz Traditional. Listen to the beautiful voice of the singer Iman Kandousi!

  • Who cares if she wears a veil or not? Senseless discussion :(

  • Actually, she is not wearing a veil. Her hair is just really black and shiny. Btw. I don't think Germans in general would consider it an insult to have an Arabic performer wear a veil unless of course the message of the performance was that everybody should wear one and those that don't are sinners. But then again... she is not wearing one.

  • you are a fucking retard or what ? for you wearing a veil mean insulting ? maybe she is a Muslim ? and most Muslim womens wear hijab .?

if you wear a pants you are insulting americain maybe ?, and if you wear shirt you will be insulting Japanese .

  • The results of the rich traditions and stunning art which came from Al-Andaluz....The Era of Splendor in Spain..... during the time of the Moors, Sepharads and Christian when they lived in peace and harmony. The Catholic church brought a swift end to this in 1492.

  • @mmenas1 My opinion has changed in all this years, and I just know how to appreciate the voice of Iman :) In spite of this, that's not a topic about religions, but music, and I think that the christian and jewish songs are more beautiful, but the arabics are wonderful too!

  • @HartiaKozu Music has no borders nor religion! Enjoy the music and join the world!

  • I prefer the arabic ones. They look more "traditional". Although their sephardic songs are more "catchy", the traditional andalusian songs are just incredible. And Imam voice... what can I say!

  • Wow you know Imam!?

  • Though the band makes a perfect music, I like much more the christian and jewish songs than the arabigs ones, and the voice of Iman, though it's so beautiful, I prefer Syrah or Mara Aranda.
