Have you experienced life without health care? Are you struggling with the cost of college? Do you have a loved one fighting in Iraq? We want to hear how your personal story affects your vote.

Im Voting For, an online video testimonial campaign launched by Campus Progress Action, gives young people a platform to talk about how their personal experiences and passion for the issues driving them to the polls. Throughout the campaign, we hope to create a narrative about why young people are voting in 2008, and focus the attention of presidential candidates and the media on the issues that are important to young people. While everyone is focusing on who are you voting for? Campus Progress Action is interested in focusing the debate on what matters most the issues.

To submit a video testimonial now about the issue that most affects your life click here. We will post the videos on our website and send the best videos to the presidential candidates, other candidates for office, and major media as periodic updates on what young people really care about.

  • @phxazjarhead I am a working adult and I am not getting value for the dollars I pay in taxes. Your wisdom has left the building.

  • @rdwhahb1 Try an actual argument instead of insults. That is why socialism is creeping up on you, no facts and all hype.

  • I'm voting for less socialism and more individualism.

Also, I am voting against the young people and their stupid fog of war they were in when they voted in 2008.

Hey, young people, I have a bit of wisdom for you:

Right now, everything is great because a good portion of you aren't paying for anything (i.e., student loans, utilities).

Wait until your first year of paying taxes and joining the rest of society and paying for every deadbeat in this country out of YOUR own paycheck.

    Wake up!

  • @AtleeYarrow The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

You greedy socialists are too selfish to work for something yourself, and instead expect others to carry your burdens for you. What a weak and pathetic bunch of losers..

  • This is a great video, it's inspired me to get involved. The Tea Party has some great ideas on the role of government in our society. I like the idea of lowering taxes and getting rid of government subsidies for industry and trusting that we, the American people can- and will- make the right choices. Thanks CPA, I will be voting this year.

  • @jcb1972 First we would have to say that corporate capitalism is responsible for itself when controlling the means when in fact it is not. There is a better way, American Socialist Party is that way. Having a fair market over and above a free market helps those most who need help. No Impact Man (the movie) ask the question, "What can I do so that we can work collectively for change?"

  • 15% of people between 18-34 are living is poverty? I guess that sounds about right. But WHY are they living in poverty? Is it because of personal irresponsibility or bad luck? I am guessing personal irresponsibility.
