The Daily Show coverage of the January 14, 2007 Bush interview on CBS's 60 Minutes left me with a couple questions about whether Bush's statement was consistent with his previous statements and whether his statement was even true.

There is nothing funny about "The Daily Show" and it's producers abusing a camel in public for a laugh. In the video (that Comedy Central tried to cover up) you can hear the camel groaning in agonizing pain. BOYCOTT COMEDY CENTRAL NOW OR THIS ANIMAL TORTURE WILL GO UNSEEN! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

I understand that.

However, true conservatives have been flushed from the Republican party.

When I say conservative, perhaps I should really say neo-conservatives. It doesn't matter, however, because "Real" conservatives have lost their voice and vote in the Republican party. When they make another appearance, I'll back 'em up.

@sicklesickle This is possibly the most mindless comment I've ever seen on youtube. Going overseas to help other countries was the most liberal thing GWB ever did. What you are describing as the "correct way" to do things is actually a very conservative point of view. I'm not saying Bush was right or wrong. I'm not saying Barack Obama is right or wrong.
