oh, man, forwarded to my bandmates with a bullet, especially for the loose-handed, behind-the-beat drumming. definitely disagree with the "god awful" comment below. audio is a bit tinny but this is a kick-ass performance, lopes and drives along like a flat-bed truck with leaf springs on a bad road. found a fuller-sounding version at the drifters' listening station. I'm a drifters fan, got their CDs but hadn't heard this song, glad I stumbled on it. nice work, Susan and band.

I must say, I have to agree with Mr. or Miss 19 one one level..This is not the best version of this song I have ever done...way to fast and such. "Live" is a touchy situation on any given day. That being said..God Awful...I dont feel so..it is just music, its like breathing, some days it is effortless, and others, not so much.

Seriously? Susan's a most respected artist in New Orleans. She recorded this with her husband on drums with the Continental Drifters. Her band is incredible! Have NO CLUE what you're talking about, 19. Seriously.

This is just God awful! It's apparent that she's just running on the coat-tails of her FORMER 'Cowsills' glory. Jesus, girl, at least get a decent BAND backing you up for Christ's sake. There are hundreds of bands all over Louisiana who will never make it big who can kick your ass in the ground.
